Very good system and clear to understand English instructions. I like the color coded tubes and manual. I retrofitted mine with a Pentax 75 membrane and permeate pump, getting 5 TDS in Ottawa a year later without changing any filters so far! (depends on your input water pollutants)

This is a great product! Sturdy construction and easy to install. I also purchased the ispring refrigerator kit. I was able to bypass the filter on the fridge so I don't have to keep replacing it $$$. Oh, and the water tastes great at an affordable price. Thank you!

System was easy to install. Make sure to follow directions amd watch youtube videos. It took me under 2 hours. Make sure to push in tubes until you feel snap. Other than that you should be good to go make sure to flush the tank a couple times. I had air bubbles in my water it will go away after about a week and its normal. The water tastes great.

Wow...thats the first thing that comes to mind. My wife and I moved into a newer house in Northern California (only 5 years old at the time) in spring of 2014. We had a home inspection done prior to purchase and had been pleased that it passed with flying colors. What our inspection did not reveal, was that the water in Colusa County is horrible (I guess theres no box for that on the inspection report). We were moving in, plugged in our refrigerator, and decided that we would like to fill the ice trays so that we could have some ice. When I filled the trays, it appeared as though the water was almost gray in color. At first, I thought that it was maybe discoloration of the plastic tray, but alas, I was wrong. The water in this area is just horrible. We actually get notices from the County detailing the level of chemicals found in our water...they assure us that the water is perfectly fine for human consumption. Hey, just because it wont kill me, doesnt mean that I want to drink it! Id have to check but I am pretty sure that the iSpring RO system was my first purchase for our new home. I had checked some reviews, viewed the videos, and had determined that I possessed the requisite skills to install the system (meaning that the installation process was basically foolproof). Upon arrival, I opened the package, reviewed the contents, sat down with the installation instructions, and got to work. We are approaching 4 years with the system installed and I could not be happier. I had gotten a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter (I was really interested to see exactly how bad the water was). Prior to installation, the drinking water (the water from the kitchen faucet) was 585 ppm on average. After installing my system and following all the priming instructions, etc., I used the handy TDS meter on the water coming out of the RO; 17 ppm. I cannot articulate the difference in the to two spouts that sit 8 inches apart. One is the worst water that I have ever tasted; please keep in mind that I was a long haul truck driver at one time and have drunk the water in most of the 48 continental US in some form or other (ice cubes, ice tea, in the fountain soda, etc.), and I can tell you without a doubt that the water in my new home was the worst! Now, 8 inches to the left of the nasty spout, sits some of the best water that I have ever tasted...I love it. We use the RO water for all of our cooking (including boiling water for pasta, potatoes, etc.), ALL water that will enter a human/ animal body, I have even found that using it for dilution of concentrated chemicals is perfect. Houseplants love it, too. Friends and family love our water; when we go to there houses (in the same county) all of them use bottled water (either through delivery services or store bought). Aside from the expense of purchasing water that way, the ones who buy it from the store have all that wasted plastic... My wife and I are considering a move in the next year or so. I am not sure where we are going yet (a couple of options still on the table) but no matter where we end up, I can guarantee that I will be installing one of these systems there, too! The nuts and bolts: Filter life: As advertised; I change the filters in accordance with the schedule provided in the instructions and I have never had any issues. When its time to re-order the filters, I hit up Josh at iSpring and they send them right out. Leaking: Not a drop (please understand that you should follow the installation instructions; this will help a lot). Filter Replacement: Easy-Drain, unscrew, remove, wipe down, install...and were done. All the tools needed for the replacement of the filters. are included with the kit.

We were able to install the system just where we wanted it, and it works perfectly. So wonderful to have such fresh water right at our fingertips instead of having to filter in a pitcher and constantly refilling the pitcher. Josh with iSpring was so great following up after our installation to see how everything was working and how we liked it. Thanks, Josh!
