It took 2 hours to install it and was only complicated by the small size of our space under the kitchen sink. As a result, we put the holding tank in a neighboring cupboard. We did have to empty the holding tank 3 times over the first week to get the water tasting good. Our water testing meter showed our tap water to be 200 ppm. Once the unit was installed it dropped to 11 ppm!

Only issue i observed is the extensive air bubbles in the filtered water but not sure if it is due to the filtration process or high oxygen levels in the well water.

The plumber was able to drill between the tiles and put this in. I bought it because it was ranked highest at Amazon. I called and asked what size drill bit was required. The person who answered was very nice. The unit has alot of filters. I hope when it comes to changing them, I will be able to do it. I think if I need help, the iSpring people will help.

My cold water valve points up, and was too close to the wall to allow me to thread on the adapter valve, so I had to add a elbow to permit installation. Make sure to "firmly" insert the tube, or you will have leaks :).

i only wish I had more room under the sink to mount a larger holding tank. the 3.5 gallon tank works great as is however i like to occasionally fill a 5 gallon water bottle and with the 3.5 gallon holding tank takes a little more time to fill. i love the PPM reduction and the taste is awesome! With this system i reduced the total dissolved solids from around 1500 to less then 68 PPM. I am well satisfied with this system and the people from iSpring. i would recommend this company and this system to anyone .
