Time will tell how long the filters will last with this horrible Socal water. I will be happy if they last 3 months. So far everything's good. The system does a good job removing chlorine tastes and smells.

The water from the whole house installed in the new house is very clean. After that, you can drink clean and comfortable water by turning on the tap directly at home. This is great and convenient.

I haven't installed this yet due to it taking some planning with my water system set up. Here are some things to help you when you choose a system. Plan everything out first, draw a diagram if needed. Have cut off valves on each end of the filter set up and a bypass for when you change your filters, for the bypass have 2 cut off valves to help. That's 2 on each side and to on the bypass. You will need plenty of space to make this easy for filter change. The whole set up with filters and mounting bracket is 28 inches. Leave at least 6 or more inches under the filter, this helps with a bucket for the filter change. This set up is perfect for well water, I like the taste of my water but dont like the sediment. This system will clean the sediment and any chlorine in the water. I reminded everyone of the filter change a lot but that is what you will have to think about, what you will have to do in there near future to keep your system clean. The recommendation for the pp (FP25B) filter is 3-6 months and the cto (FC25B) filter is 6- 12 months for a family of 4. Check with the manufacturer for proper filters. You can switch filters to make a custom type for your house. As far as I can feel this is made in America and home head quarters is in GA. Hope you found this helpful and plan everything out to make it easier for the install.

Chloramines are supposed to be bad for my composting worms, so I use the purified water for them as well as for the human and feline members of the family. The water quality is great, and we can't imagine drinking any unpurified water now.
