I have saved money since using this filtering system. The hardest/weirdest part of the installation is drilling a 1/4 hole in the drain pipe (most kitchen sinks have plastic, but the chrome plated ones would not be a problem) and attaching a clamp and a hose to it. Some plumbing experience gained, which was a plus for me!

I used a Brita pitcher that always filtered the chemical taste of my municipal water. This system is a lot more complex but works more better.

In previous homes I used a Culligan water filter that attached to the kitchen faucet. This 5 stage reverse osmosis water filtration system works a lot better in purifying the water.
