A day or two went by after we installed our new ro system, and I started thinking, how do I actually know when its time to change the filter?? Then the bigger question popped into my head ,( How do I know my water filter is doing anything at all??) So with that being said, we ordered a TDS meter, a few days later we received the meter and the testing began. My tap water read 278 ppm. my filtered water read 14! Glad to know that this is easy to test!
