I tested the hard water level shortly after we flushed out the tank, mine dropped significantly from 381ppm to 17ppm. Performance seems to be as advertised (no funny taste in the output water), and output volume also seems adequate.

The 3 main filters need to be changed every year but they're easy to do. Although it is very simple and easy to install it, having customer support just in case is very important. That's one of the reasons I chose this system from iSpring as they are based in Atlanta.
