About this item
- [NSF/ANSI 372 Certified] The WSP50ARJ-BP sediment water filter is certified lead-free under NSF/ANSI 372 standards, ensuring safer and cleaner water for your home.
- [Auto Flushing Module]The filter has an integrated auto-flushing module (dual power supply) that saves time on routine maintenance. Auto, semi-auto, and manual on the HD touchscreen are to enable the system to flush on a preset schedule automatically.
- [Bypass Valve Design] iSpring WSP50ARJ-BP provides 4 different operation modes, including filtration mode, shut-off mode, bypass mode, and backwash mode. The bypass valve design can control the water in different channels, making maintenance a breeze.
- [Jumbo Size and High Flow Rate] Designed for a more complicated well water situation, the WSP50ARJ-BP spin-down sediment water filter provides a 1-gallon capacity, which is 22 times larger than standard sediment filters. The maximum flow rate is 25 GPM.
- [Effective Sediment Removal] The whole house sediment filter uses a 50-micron filter screen. It can filter up to 99% of large particulates such as sediments, dirt, rust, sand, floating objects, and other water pollutants.
- [Tested and Proven] This housing has successfully passed rigorous tests, enduring pressures exceeding 500 psi and withstanding over 100,000 water hammer tests, demonstrating its outstanding resilience and longevity.
- [Pressure-resistant and Durable Materials] Crafted from 316L food-grade stainless steel, the precision filter mesh in the iSpring WSP50ARJ-BP ensures exceptional durability. The explosion-proof transparent housing offers visibility and convenience.
- Our NSF Certification validates the entire filtration system's performance, setting us apart from competitors that certify only components or materials.

I purchased directly and I have parts missing too but I guess it is intentional, so they save a few pennies even though the unit costs $300 . There is no mounting hardware included even though they provide a nice solid mounting bracket, and the unit has 4 threaded holes to attach to the corresponding 4 holes in the bracket but no machine screws to attach the two. Being a contractor I have thousands of extra pieces of hardware here and after hours of trying I could only find one odd fine tread screw to work. The same experience trying to connect the drain hose. Unless you have a floor drain right below the filter, the hose they include is worthless and good luck trying to find something that connects to it. Again, I have hundreds of plumbing fittings here and lots of drain hoses and nothing matched up so in the end I had to heat an old garden hose to attach it to the including very solid fitting to reach my drain. There are some positives but site will not allow more words.

What size tube does the flush valve use?The flush valve uses 3/8” OD tubing. Will I lose any water pressure after installing this filter? You shouldn't notice any drop in pressure after installing this filter. Is a sediment filter necessary?Spin down filters are generally recommended for use with well water or if you have high amounts of sediment. City water or Municipal water sources usually do not have high levels of residue but can have sediment issues; it depends on the quality of the source water and sediment that needs to be removed from the source water. Can water filters be cleaned and reused?Yes. iSpring Spin Down Sediment Filters can be flushed, cleaned, and reused. How do you filter sediment out of water? The best solution will be installing a sediment filter. How does a spin down sediment filter work? The iSpring spin-down sediment filter is the first line of defense for your plumbing system, faucets, and appliances. Removing dirt, sand, and rust particles protects and extends the life of your standard filters. It also prevents the faucets from being damaged by “grinding.” Statistics show that it saves up to 20% of water consumption from being wasted by “dripping faucets” in commercial and public buildings. How do I know which size cartridge to order? 50, 100, 200 ,500 micron? The size cartridge you’ll need to order depends on the size and the amount of sediment it will have to treat. The smaller sizes will remove the most sediment, but excess or large particles can clog them quickly and require frequent flushing. If you notice that you need frequent flushing, consider using a larger size screen and using additional treatment after the sediment filter to catch the fine particles. |
