About this item
- Stainless steel mesh filter screen rated at 50 Micron. Double threads on both ends: 1inch MNPT and 3/4 inch FNPT, 1/4" flush out fitting included. WSP series can be used for waste water treatment by spin down the sediment.
- Flushable and reusable, takes the considerable workload off finer filters that follow behind it; helps create a multi-layer gradient filtration system for better filtration results and longer filter life.
- System can be installed in any direction thanks to the 360° rotatable head connection.
- The steel mesh filter cartridge and housing can be easily cleaned by rotating the scraper, saving time and effort on routine maintenance.
- Lifetime support from iSpring in Alpharetta, GA at (678) 261-7611

Love it, just smaller and filters out debris 50micron (little thinner than piece of paper). I was hoping it would filter out the red silt (see pic of next filter in line), but nearly all the sediment is picked up by the 25micron filter. The 3rd filter is 5micron, and barely pics up anything. Notice how red the white element in the second filter has become, after only about 100 gallons. I just purchased house on hill 325' above the river, and a couple miles from Mississippi River (NW Illinois) and there were not filters or softener on water coming out of 400' well. This filter is great, but I need a bigger, finer micron, self-flushing filter with clear tank so I can tell when to manually flush. Or better yet, there is one that can be put on a timer and flushes itself, made in Italy for about $325, but $200 shipping. I added Waterboss iron/sulfur filter (in water little iron, some sulfur smell), then Morton softener. This filters out small black grit, that's all it does for my water.
