Triple the Savings, Triple the Joy!
About this item
- [Flushable and Reusable] The whole house spin down sediment water filter is used to create a multi-layer gradient filtration system taking considerable workload off finer filters that follow it and result in a longer filter life. As a larger, upgraded version of WSP series, WSP50ARB filters out particulate, sediment, rust, and floating objects.
- [Pressure-resistant and Durable Materials] Lead-free brass machine head, 50-micron food grade stainless steel mesh filter screen, and explosion-proof transparent housing.
- [Easy Installation] No welding or glue needed. Works well with copper, PEX, and CPVC pipes.
- [Auto Flushing] Integrated Auto Flushing Module(dual power supply) with scraper saves time and effort on routine maintenance. Choose from auto, semi-auto, and manual on HD touch screen to enable the system to flush automatically on a preset schedule. WSP series can be used for waste water treatment by spin down the sediment.
- [High Flow Rate] Provide a maximum flow rate of 25 GPM. Two types of threads on both two ends of connectors: 1-inch MNPT and 3/4-inch FNPT.

I have some pretty rough well water and this product was just what I was looking for. High quality filter that easily installed upstream of of my Big Blue filter to extended its life. I had some questions and talked to Nick at iSpring who was real nice and helped me out, even called me back when he got the answer I needed. Glad I found this filter.

The metrics for this review appear off. The thickness, sheerness, and stretch don't have anything to do with a spin down. Now the review! This thing appears to be awesome. I tested it a bit and ran a few drain cycles and it looks like it works fantastic! After just two pump fills (running my system empty, then allowing it to fill) I trapped huge chunks of what appear to be flakes of metal (uh oh) I went with 50 micron which may not be a good choice given the size of the particulate matter I'm seeing, but the current plan is just to have it drain more often. With the highish pressure I run this well at the drain is explosive! I have it set up in an outdoor building, where a few gallons of water on the floor everyday isn't ideal, but it's also not a big issue like if it was in my basement or something. The plan is to figure out what I need to do to plumb it straight outside where it can scare the hell out of some chickens. So, it works, having it set up automatically is great, it oddly was the only thing where a bit of thread tape and hand tightening produced zero leaks, and it appears to be exactly what I needed and works awesome!

We have well water and were having problems with sediments and build-up in all of our faucets and appliances. So we bought this pre-filter that has a built-in timer to set for flushing itself. I'm very busy and needed a product like this. The installation and set-up was very easy and setting the timer and flushing length were very simple as well. I purchased the 100-micron screen because I thought the sediment content was very high in my water, but I found out I should have purchased the 50-micron screen instead. I contacted Nick at Ispring and explained to him my problem. I was willing to purchase the new screen, but Nick offered to send it free of charge. Great product and amazing customer service!

We ordered this filter because we have a lot of sediment coming in from our well and our plumber suggested a spin down filter. We looked together and found this one. When it arrived he said it was easy to install and set up and we have seen a huge improvement in the sediment in our house.
It had been about a year since we installed and we were having issues with the filter getting clogged. I messaged ISpring and immediately heard back from Nick about a replacement filter. The customer service is excellent and we are now considering iSpring for water filtration as we’ll just because of how wonderful they have been to work with

My (new) 50 y/o house is on a well and I'm learning how to maintain the systems. This spin down filter has kept the valve on the water softener functioning and has been simple to clean and maintain. I ran into trouble when my holding tank needed to be replaced, which was up stream from the filter. Too much sediment got stirred up and came through filter at once. I called the people at iSpring and they were great helping me fix this problem. I would defiantly recommend this to anyone needing a quality spin down filter with great technical support behind it. You won't go wrong.

We added this to our well filtration system. We were having a problem with sand and it was getting worse when the water level rose. This filtration system is still going strong and the water pressure is great.
Sean was a great help when I had a couple of questions regarding set up and the flush run time. He was so understanding and helpful. We will definitely use this system if we have another well issue with other properties.

I bought this system for a rental with well water. Previously, when you would turn on the water after leaving it off for a while, you would see sediment coming through the faucets and sitting in the toilets. This system fixed the problem. I installed the system myself with pex with valves on each end as seen in the instructions. This is so you can bypass the system if you have a problem or you want to change the filters.
If you have a pex tool and have done work like this before, the install is very straight forward. You could also use shark bites and and pex/copper but the install would be more expensive. As far as comparing this system with more expensive ones (several thousand dollars) , I can't make the comparison but I will say this fixed my problem.
Unfortunately, The first time I cleaned the prefilter, I couldn't get the cover back on without it leaking. I called Ispring and they sent me a new one immediately. They were very responsive and Don was a huge help.

I bought this to be the first in a series of filters and anti-scaler for my house which is on well water. I decided to go with all iSpring for the entire system. I am very happy with this sediment trap. Here is the review I wrote for the anti-scaler:I called and talked to Nick in customer service at iSpring while I was shopping for a water filtration system. Nick was very helpful. He answered my multitude of questions about filter cartridges, the different options iSpring offers, and about iSpring's anti-scaler. Nick is also very knowledgeable about all of iSpring's products. Nick even pointed me in the direction of a local resource for water testing when I voiced some of my concerns about our well water. One of the main reasons that I chose to go with iSpring is Nick's availability on the phone and his quick responses to the emails that I sent him (with yet more questions). I ended up buying the WGB32B-KS filter, WSP50ARB sediment trap, and the WDS-150 anti-scaler.I knew the installation was not for novices. This isn't my first water system, so I knew that it was going to take a bit of work. From a "handyman" perspective, I felt that the install was fairly easy. I read a few reviews prior to purchasing that some folks had problems with the fittings not sealing in the unit. I'm not sure what they did, but I used Teflon tape and a little bit of pipe sealer, and haven't had any problems. No leaks. On a not-so-positive note, when I got ready for the install, I unboxed the cartridge only to find that it was damaged. I sent a picture to Nick and he responded in less than 24 hours that iSpring will replace it under warranty. It's already on its way.I have nothing but good things to say about the customer service received so far. Once the replacement cartridge arrives and I have had time to notice results, I will update this review.

I have had several sediment filters in the past for my well. I live near a lake but the water moves a lot so it has a lot of silt in it. I have gone thru hundreds of sediment filters trying to get this out of my system. This spin down filter works great at getting the silt and initial debris out of the water! I can set the schedule to flush it as often as I like depending on the water. I have it set now to flush every 3 days to keep it functioning smoothly with my well. No more filter changes, no more loss of water pressure due to a clogged filter!
