Water's Good

Into the Woods with Purified Water

Posted On 09/19/2024 By iSpring Water Systems

It’s hard to beat time spent in the great outdoors. Camping, hiking, and exploring nature can all provide you with a serene escape from your otherwise hectic life. However, one thing that can quickly ruin your otherwise peaceful enjoyment is contaminated water.

Even if the water you encounter appears to be clean, the true water quality is imperceivable, and if consumed, it can lead to health troubles. Often, parasites, bacteria, and/or viruses lurk in water that has not been treated to kill these contaminants. If ingested, you could suffer some serious stomach ailments that will most definitely put a damper on your outdoor adventure.

Enjoying Purified Water within the Wilderness

While there are a few options for purifying contaminated water such as boiling it for one minute or disinfecting it with a chemical disinfectant such as bleach, one of the easiest ways to ensure you’re enjoying clean water while on the go is by using a water filtration system. While this may sound unachievable while camping, iSpring offers a variety of systems to suit our customers' different needs while providing you with safe, purified water.

If you own your own RV, investing in a water filtration system such as our CW31 eliminates the worry of exposing yourself to contaminated water while camping. It safeguards all your RV water usage—whether for showering, washing fruits, drinking, or cooking—offering a convenient, highly efficient solution for clean water everywhere you need it. This system

  1. employs a three-stage filtration system including a first-stage sediment filter which eliminates particles larger than 5 microns and a second and third-stage CTO carbon block filter that removes any leftover particles as well as unpleasant tastes, odors, chloramine, and chlorine, giving the water a fresh taste.
  2. removes sand, sediment, rust, silt, large particles, and harmful chemicals.
  3. requires minimal effort to install and maintain, requiring filter changes every 3 - 12 months for the sediment filter and 6 - 12 months of the carbon block CTO filters.
  4. does not require electricity, making it ideal for camping
