After building a new house out in the country, we had our new well tested and the water seemed fine - just a little high in manganese. We didn’t do anything about it for a few months but then started to notice a white film and spots on the glass shower doors, dishes, and faucets. Also a lot developed inside the dishwasher. I didn’t want to do a conventional salt based water softener, so I found that many municipal water systems have been adding poly phosphate for many years without issue. The iSpring anti scale cartridge is not actually a filter but rather a poly phosphate inserter. Ther are many tiny beads inside that dissolve as the water passes through it. Everything has cleared up since installing. Wish I had done it sooner. I would highly recommend if you have scale.

Bought this filter due to constant scale buildup. After installing this filter I cleaned all faucets and areas that had scale build up. There is now no scale build up. Dishes now come out completely clean from dishwasher without white residue and taste of water improved greatly. Definitely worth the high price point compared to the $35 filter I replaced with this one.

I got the wds80k anti scale fitler several weeks ago and it worked like a charm! We have very hard water and there is A LOT of residual in our ice maker, coffee machine, and dishwasher. Our showerheads also got clogged all the time... After installing this filter, I first noticed a big difference in shower as I feel much cleaner when done. It's been a couple of weeks and there is much less residuals everywhere than before! I think it also improved our water pressure. Now I'm getting the replacement filter just in case it's out of stock when I need ir. Highly recommend everyone on hard water to get this one.
