Works when water is switched on - flow sensor works great, can see the plastic right angled water connectors light up. Works with 240v in Australia by reducing the size of the neutral and twisting both pins using pliers to form the Australia plug pattern.Bought this to try reduce clear slim forming in the coffee machine water reservoir, how well it works I dont know, maybe better than nothing or safer than Iodized cartridge.
