Unlike an RO system, this whole house water filtration system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water; if you are interested in a filter that removes TDS consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. The polyphosphate filter does not remove calcium and magnesium from water - it only prevents those molecules from forming scale.

Designed for a more complicated well water situation, the WSP50J spin-down sediment water filter provides a 1-gallon capacity, which is 22 times the capacity of traditional sediment filters. The maximum flow rate of WSP50J is 25 GPM.
Stage 1: Anti-Scale Water Filter
The first stage of iSpring WGB32B-KDS+WSP50J whole house water filter system is an anti-scale water filter.
The filter media can effectively sequester calcium and magnesium from your source water, preventing your pipes and household appliances from scaling and clearing partially clogged piping.
Our premium filter media inhibits corrosion, particularly iron, steel, galvanized, copper, and lead, by coating the surface of your pipes. The coating also helps to stabilize chlorine so that chlorine will not react with the metal pipe if it exists.
Depending on your water quality and water usage, our filter media can last up to 12 months or filter up to 250,000 gallons of water. It is fully compliant with USA and European standards for food contact materials.
Stage 2: GAC+KDF Heavy Metal Reducing Filter
The second stage of iSpring WGB32B-KDS+WSP50J whole house water filtration system is a GAC+KDF compound water filter.
iSpring FG25B-KS whole house water filter cartridge is specially designed to remove chlorine, lead, mercury, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, herbicides, odors, and other contaminants.
If your water is hard (TDS / Total Dissolved Solids > 300 ppm), please add a water softener (such as iSpring WCS45KG) before your water filter system for the optimal
Stage 3: Carbon Block Filter
The third stage of iSpring WGB32B-KDS+WSP50J whole house water filter system is a carbon water filter.
iSpring FC25B carbon block water filter uses high-quality coconut shell carbon and highly compact fabrication tech for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. It filters up to 100,000 gallons of water (or lasts up to 12 months) and removes up to 99% of chlorine from water, as well as color, cloudiness, and various taste and odor compounds.
Q: Does this system soften water?
A: No. WGB32B-KDS+WSP50J whole house water filter & descaler uses polyphosphate to prevent scale from forming and attaching to your pipes, sink, shower, dishwasher, and other household appliances. It can also coat the surface of your pipes to prevent them from corrosion. However, this water filter system does not remove calcium or magnesium so the hardness of your water will remain the same after filtration.

Will WGB32B-KDS whole house water filtration system decrease water pressure to the house?It should not. If you experience significant pressure loss, please let us know. What are the water pressure requirements for the WGB32B-KDS residential water treatment systems to work?The feed water pressure needs to be between 25 psi and 80 psi. Is this domestic water purification system suitable for well water?This whole house water purification system can filter both city water and well water. However, it doesn't filter out viruses and bacteria. For well water, a whole house UV stage (#UVF55FS) is recommended. Does WGB32B-KDS home water filtration system work on hot water?No, we do not recommend installing a water filter for home to filter hot water as the high temperature can damage the carbon block filter. The operating temperature for the whole house system is 40 - 100°F. What size tube does the WSP50J flush valve use?The flush valve uses 3/8” OD tubing. Will I lose any water pressure after installing thw WSP50J filter?You shouldn't notice any drop in pressure after installing this filter. Is a Spin Down sediment filter necessary?Spin down filters are generally recommended for use with well water or if you have high amounts of sediment. City water or Municipal water sources usually do not have high levels of residue but can have sediment issues; it depends on the quality of the source water and sediment that needs to be removed from the source water. Can the Spin down sediment filters be cleaned and reused?Yes. iSpring Spin Down Sediment Filters can be flushed, cleaned, and reused. |
