Spin Down Sediment Water Filters: The Ultimate Solution for Cleaner Water

Posted On 03/26/2025 By iSpring Water Systems

Water is vital to our daily lives, impacting health and home maintenance. While tap water is often deemed safe, it can harbor contaminants like sediment, rust, and sand, compromising taste, clarity, and even safety. These impurities can also damage plumbing and appliances. Investing in a spin-down sediment filter is crucial; it's the first line of defense in a comprehensive water purification system, safeguarding downstream equipment by removing larger particles before they reach finer filters like reverse osmosis (RO), ensuring efficiency and longevity.

What is a Spin Down Sediment Filter?

Spin down sediment filters are highly efficient and cost-effective, using stainless steel mesh to capture particles as small as 5 microns. Unlike traditional filters, they can be flushed clean by opening a valve, making them reusable and eco-friendly. This extends their lifespan and reduces replacement costs. Ideal for residential, agricultural, and commercial use, they protect plumbing and water systems from large particles, ensure clean irrigation water, and handle high water flow demands.

See the Difference with iSpring’s Spin Down Sediment Water Filtration Systems

Here at iSpring, we pride ourselves on providing water filtration systems that are built to produce the best result possible while also keeping our customers at the forefront of our minds.

Each of our spin down systems provides efficient filtration by capturing sediment, rust, and other particulates with high precision. To further ensure high-quality products, we use durable materials including stainless steel mesh and heavy-duty housing for long-lasting use. We also know that not every customer’s sediment concerns are the same. Because of this, we offer various series to suit different filtration needs.

To make installation and maintenance less intimidating and economical, each of our systems is designed to be simple to set up and clean, requiring minimal effort. Our spin down filters are also reusable, reducing waste and lowering longer-term costs.

Choose Your iSpring Spin Down Sediment Water Filter System for Superior Water Filtration

To cater to various filtration needs, iSpring offers multiple series of spin down sediment filters with unique features:

  1. Our WSP series is our standard, classic whole-house model, offering high-efficiency sediment filtration at a rate from 50 microns to 1000 microns.

  2. Our WSP-SL series has a slimmer design, making it ideal for compact installations. This filter also rates from 50 microns to 1000 microns and includes Siliphos which prevents scale and stops corrosion, helping extend the life of your plumbing fixtures.

  3. Our WSPGR series features a pressure gauge for monitoring filter performance as well as a double-sided scraper that thoroughly cleans the mesh filter, making maintenance easier and less frequent. Meanwhile, this spin dowm sediment water filter can be installed in any direction due to the 360° rotatable head design.

  4. Our WSPB & WSPARB series are an upgraded version of our WSP series and are designed for heavy-duty filtration with reinforced durability. This series features over three times the capacity as our WSP series and a 25 gallon per minute flow rate. The WSPARB also provides an integrated auto-flushing module and scraper, saving time and effort on routine maintenance.

  5. For increased capacity, our WSPJ, WSPARJ & WSPARJ-BP series offer a gallon capacity, which is 22 times the capacity of traditional sediment filters. The WSPARJ and WSPARJ-BP also offer auto-flushing capabilities and are NSF-certified. Besides, the WSPARJ-BP features a four-way ball valve that can control the water in different channels, making maintenance a breeze.

  6. For increased capacity, meanwhile, preventing corrosion and scale build-up, our WSPSL-ARJ & WSPSL-ARJ-BP series are high-performance models for demanding applications with NSF Certification. Both have a 1-gallon capacity and a flow rate of 25 gallons per minute along with an auto-flushing module. Our WSPSL-ARJ-BP also has a backwashing feature which reverses the water flow, making it more effective than regular flushing at dislodging and expelling sediment trapped in the filter mesh, resulting in less frequent manual cleaning and filter replacements.

Investing in a high-quality spin down sediment filter is a smart choice for improving water quality and protecting household and commercial water systems. With a reusable, eco-friendly design, iSpring Spin Down Sediment Water Filters provide a cost-effective, reliable, and efficient solution for sediment filtration. Ensure clean and safe water for your home or business by choosing an iSpring spin down filter.
