FAQ
Why should I choose the WRO4000 for my home? +

The WRO4000 turns every tap in your house into a source of clean, great-tasting water. Whether you're drinking from the kitchen sink, showering, or washing vegetables, you'll enjoy reduced chlorine, heavy metals, and sediments—meaning softer skin, brighter laundry, and peace of mind knowing your family isn't drinking or bathing in harsh chemicals.

Does the WRO4000 provide filtered water to every faucet? +

Yes. The WRO4000 is designed to provide treated water throughout the home, supplying multiple points of use—including kitchens, bathrooms, showers, and laundry areas—depending on your home's plumbing configuration.

What contaminants does the WRO4000 reduce? +

The WRO4000 is designed to reduce a broad range of impurities and contaminants, including total dissolved solids (TDS), PFAS, microplastics, heavy metals, chlorine, odors, and other substances. Reverse osmosis technology helps reduce TDS, while the system’s real-time TDS monitoring allows you to view the quality of incoming and filtered water. Actual contaminant reduction may vary depending on the specific contaminant, water conditions, and system configuration.

How often do I need to replace the filters? +

Filter replacement frequency varies depending on water quality, household water usage, and other operating conditions. The smart monitoring system helps track filter status and provides information to help you determine when maintenance may be needed.

Can I monitor the system remotely? +

Yes. Simply access the WRO4000's web-based monitoring dashboard from your smartphone, tablet, or computer to check system status, filter life, water usage, and water quality from anywhere.

How do I maintain the WRO4000 system? +

To help maintain optimal performance, clean the WSP pre-filter screen as needed, check the system, tubing, and connections for leaks, and replace filters according to the recommended schedule or system notifications. Maintenance frequency may vary depending on water quality and household water usage.

Can I install the WRO4000 myself? +

Professional installation is recommended. Installation requirements may vary depending on your home's plumbing, electrical connections, drainage, water pressure, and local regulations.

Can the WRO4000 treat water from any source? +

The WRO4000 is designed for use with water that meets its specified feed-water requirements. The system requires 70–110 psi feed-water pressure and a feed-water temperature of 41°F–100.4°F. It must be installed indoors and kept out of direct sunlight. Water from sources with unknown or unsuitable quality should be tested before installation to determine whether additional pretreatment is required. If you're unsure whether your water source is compatible, have your water tested and contact iSpring Customer Support with your water quality report for guidance.

Will the WRO4000 reduce water pressure? +

The WRO4000 is designed to operate with a feed-water pressure of 70–110 psi. Water pressure at different points of use may vary depending on your home's plumbing, water usage, water quality, and installation conditions. The system should be installed indoors and kept out of direct sunlight. If you're unsure whether your water pressure or installation conditions meet the system requirements, please contact iSpring Customer Support for assistance.
