Very very happy with our RO system!

We are very happy with our iSpring RCC7AK. I think most homeowners can install this themselves. I even drilled my own hole in our granite countertop which was a bit daunting at first. The water tastes excellent (in part to the remineralization filter) and a simple nitrate before/after test shows that it has removed most of what we were concerned with!Sean at iSpring was very helpful in getting our 3-year warranty registered. He was very quick to reply and easy to work with. He even sent out a replacement facet at no charge!Unfortunately we didn't have a horizontal drain pipe so you can hear the dripping when it's filtering out the bad stuff. I've found an adapter to run the 1/4 drain water into the garbage disposal that I'll probably get at a later time. Other than that everything else went very smooth and the installation documentation was well put together! The YouTube videos were very helpful during the installation process.

Good filtration & Top-Tier Support!

The filtration quality delivers clean water. What really sets this experience apart though is the phenomenal customer service ' Sean was helpful responsive and genuinely cared about ensuring everything worked perfectly. Thank you Sean!Crucial Installation Tips:To make the most of this system and protect your home do not skip these very essential add-ons during installation.Pressure Regulator: Install this first to protect your system from unexpected water pressure spikes.Leak Detector & Shut-Off Valve: Place this under the unit. It should automatically cut off the water supply if a leak is ever detected.Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their home water quality!https://www.ispringfilter.com/ispring-als1-leak-detector-and-shut-off-valve-for-reverse-osmosis-and-under-sink-water-filtration-systems---14-quick-connect?keyword=water%20leak%20stop&stype=prefix&smode=1&type=p&model=&category_id=0

iSpring Customer Care is EXCELLENT!

I purchased an iSpring 6-stage Reverse Osmosis system for my home's drinking water. I have had 3 different brands of RO Systems at all 3 of my previous homes and I can honestly say the iSpring system that I purchased through Home Depot has been the easiest to set up and maintain. This iSpring system is also the most affordable!! The system came with very detailed and easy to follow installation instructions; I single handedly had it up and running in a few short hours! I recently had an issue with the RO faucet dripping and I was very pleasantly surprised by the Customer Care I received when I reached out for support. I feel so blessed to have been put in contact with NICK in the iSpring Water Systems Support Team. Nick was very knowledgeable about the system. Nick graciously responded to all of my questions and concerns. Then to my absolute surprise Nick easily resolved my dripping issue by shipping out a new RO faucet - No arguing No fussing No begging - Nick simply took care of the customer!!! I still cannot believe how easy it was to work with this company and I am So Grateful for Nick! This is what Customer Care looks like and THIS is what Customer Loyalty is built on. I am certain life will take me to new homes in the future and every one of those homes will definitely have an iSpring RO System. Thank you again to Nick - you are an Angel!

Excellent Product and Outstanding Customer Service

I have been using the iSpring water filter since 2018, and it has been working great and providing excellent water quality over the years. What impressed me even more was their customer service. In 2026, iSpring sent me a new water tank at no charge, even though I purchased the system back in 2018. That kind of support and goodwill is rare these days.Special thanks to Matt for his excellent customer service and for going above and beyond to help. I truly appreciate the gesture.I highly recommend iSpring not only for the quality of their water filtration systems but also for their outstanding customer support. A great product backed by a company that genuinely cares about its customers!

No more plastic water bottles

Was looking for a 6 water filtration system that can make Texas water drinkable. I don't like to keep buying plastic water bottles to drink and I wanted to cook with clean water. After reading a heap of reviews, I chose the RCC7AK system which is under the counter. It is a decent size and takes a couple of hours to install, but the instructions were really clear and there is also a good install video on YouTube. The water quality is fantastic and no water bottles purchased since.I did have a small leak around the above counter tap. I contacted customer support via email and Julius responded within an hour asking for my details and he sent a whole new tap unit out to me. It arrived in 2 days. Some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. Shows that the company stands behind its products.

Makes good water to fill 5 gallon bottles.

I installed this system in my basement to be able to fill 5 gallon bottles. We like to put the bottles on the cooler so that we will have cold water to drink. It seems as if all these springwater companies are starting to use reverse osmosis on their water anyway and then add minerals back. Save the expense and do it yourself. The water tastes as good as any I've had around here. You get a pretty comprehensive system for your money. One thing that would help is if the company would have a stop valve available that would adapt from 1/2" pex to quarter inch tubing for this type of application that is not going under the sink. However, I was able to find a stop valve like that with a brass ferrule and it doesn't leak.👍🏼

iSpring RCC7AK is Everything We Wanted in a Filter System

This iSpring 6-Stage Reverse Osmosis (RO) System is terrific, and we love, love, love, the taste of the water! We were looking to add a high quality filter system with a separate tap at our kitchen sink for drinking water, making coffee/tea, etc. I've used single filter systems in the past and was also concerned about the flow rate in addition to the final filtering quality and taste. After researching, I chose this iSpring 6-Stage Reverse Osmosis System, and we couldn't be happier. The first 3 stages filter out any particulate matter down to tiniest micron level. But then the reverse osmosis membrane does its magic and removes ‘nearly’ everything but the water molecules.

Be design, RO systems filter at a fairly slow rate, so this system has a (~2.5 gal) pressurized reserve storage tank which feeds the separate tap at the sink — as a result the flow rate when using the water is fantastic.RO systems can remove so much of the naturally occurring minerals that the water can actually taste strange or flat. So the last two filters here work as the water is dispensed from the reserve tank — first a taste polisher removes any residual off-notes from storage, and then the Alkaline filter remineralizes the water to balance the PH and finish the taste.

The result is a smooth, neutral, refreshing taste and mouthfeel, with zero aftertaste. Just super smooth and delicious!

RO filters produce some waste water as part of their process (look that up if you're interested) so we added a separate Permeate Pump to increase that efficiency. The system has a number of parts, and may look overwhelming, but anyone with basic tools and a handy attitude can get this installed. (Nick was very helpful with a side issue -- so great customer service to boot!)

Great Water! Awesome customer service. FLUSH PRE FILTERS DURING INSTALL. Can recycle drain water.

We recently installed the iSpring RCC7AK reverse osmosis water filtration system, and we've been very happy with it. The installation was straightforward, but it's worth taking your time and carefully following each step.We did run into one issue because we went back and forth between the YouTube installation video and the manual and overlooked the step of flushing the three pre-filters until the water ran clear before connecting the RO membrane. As a result, the RO membrane became clogged, and the system wasn't functioning properly.I reached out to customer support, and Laurence provided outstanding service. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and guided me through the troubleshooting process via email. He even sent detailed video instructions on how to check the tank pressure. Once we determined that the RO membrane had become clogged during installation, Laurence promptly express-shipped a replacement. After installing the new membrane, the system has been performing exactly as expected. With our water pressure at 65 psi, we're seeing a wastewater ratio of approximately 2.5–3:1, the flow rate is excellent for filling bottles, and the water tastes noticeably cleaner and fresher. It's reassuring knowing we're drinking high-quality filtered water every day.One modification I made was adding a tee fitting and shutoff valve to the 1/4-inch drain line. This allows me to divert the wastewater into a bucket for watering plants or simply close the valve and have it drain into the kitchen plumbing as originally designed. It's a simple addition that gives us the flexibility to reuse the water instead of letting it go down the drain. If you're looking for a reliable reverse osmosis system backed by exceptional customer support, I would definitely recommend the iSpring RCC7AK. Thanks again to Laurence for going above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved.

Great product great service!

Just installed the system today. Everything very well packaged and labelled. Used the video on YouTube and went through each step. The video was extremely clear to follow detailed description of each step in the installation. As an engineer I appreciate these things. I really enjoyed installing and setting up the system. The water tastes great so much better than before. This is a great product and a great company. But these alone are nothing without the customer service. I filled in the online form to register my product and validate the extended warranty. I was pleasantly surprised when I received an email a short time later requesting me to send in my purchase invoice. Many thanks Sean for your help which was very much appreciated. A highly recommended product and Im very pleased with my purchase-and my fresh tasting clean drinking water..

Why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5“It's a highly effective system that delivers exceptional water purity, backed by stellar overseas tech support—though you may have to navigate some initial technical hurdles and lackluster US-based phone customer service.”The Setup & Water Pressure Crucial FactsIf you are considering this system, pay close attention to your incoming water pressure. The Pressure Drop: The system requires at least 45 PSI of incoming pressure. Be aware that you will lose about 6 to 9 PSI just passing through the Stage 1 to Stage 3 pre-filters before the water even reaches the RO membrane. The Waste Water Reality: If you cannot maintain the optimal 70–80 PSI, expect a massive amount of waste water.Installation: The instructions and installation process are not overly difficult. However, a major tip for success is to read the manual completely from beginning to end before you start assembling anything. Do not over tight the housing units, nothing leaked on my installation.I suggest adding pressure gauges on the tank , between booster pump and RO membrane. The Booster Pump & Technical Hiccups:To achieve optimal filtration performance, adding a booster pump between Stage 3 and the RO membrane is highly recommended. I paid an extra $100 for a new head configuration with free shipping, which was perfectly reasonable. My journey with the pump had a rocky start:The First Attempt: The first shipped head/pump assembly was incredibly quiet (you can barely hear it running on a standard 110V outlet), but it suffered from massive pressure spikes well over 100 PSI. This is a major safety hazard for a hose system rated for only 90 PSI.The Solution: Out of frustration, I was ready to pack up the entire system and return it. Fortunately, a replacement head and pump assembly was sent out, and the second unit works perfectly.Performance & Water Quality (Well Water Test)Once dialed in with the working booster pump, the efficiency and filtration capabilities are incredible.Efficiency: The system achieves an impressive 1:1 ratio (one gallon of pure water to one gallon of waste water).TDS Reduction: My source is heavy well water that already passes through a chlorinator, sulfur aerator, carbon filter, and water softener. The iSpring system stripped the remaining Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) down from a high 870 to an incredibly clean 56.Customization Note: The system came with a remineralization filter, but I removed it. If you prefer a crisp, pure water profile without a distinct mineral taste, the system functions perfectly without it.Customer Support: A Tale of Two TeamsThis is where the experience gets interesting. The support you get depends entirely on who you talk to.The Bad (iSpring US Phone Support): Unhelpful and indifferent. The representatives I spoke with over the phone showed zero interest in answering questions. One agent sounded like he had literally just woken up from a nap, offered no troubleshooting, and simply told me I had to deal with Francis. To make matters worse, they couldn't even provide a phone number for him.The Great (Francis - Overseas Tech Sales Support): Francis is the saving grace of this company's support division. Because Francis is based in the Philippines, the time zone difference means a strict 24-hour delay on email replies. However, the quality of service was top-notch, efficient, and ultimately solved my hardware issues with the replacement pump.Final VerdictDespite a frustrating middle phase with a faulty pump and useless US phone support, I am ultimately very happy with the system's performance. It turns harsh well water into pristine drinking water.Ultimately, a deionization resin filter will completely drop TDS to 1-2!Advice to iSpring: You need to seriously revamp your US domestic phone staff and hire more people with the competence and dedication of Francis!

Why do Reverse Osmosis water systems waste water?

To start with, let's make it clear: ALL Reverse Osmosis units produce wastewater. With the modern technique, the waster water ratio can be reduced but not eliminated. Here is how the RO system works. The RO water system will split the water stream into two flows; one is purified water, and another is wastewater. There is a flow restrictor on the wastewater line, which will slow down the water flow. Hence, it will create enough water pressure to force the H2O to pass through the semipermeable membrane to remove dissolved solids.

Is there a difference between this iSpring brand and other brands? Why is the price gap so dramatic?

Since 2005, iSpring has brought an average Reverse Osmosis filter price down from the $700 range. We bypass middlemen, sell directly online, cut advertising and live up with customer reviews by continuous improvements. We are doing what we want to do: make clean water available and affordable to more people. We believe in long-term value.

I followed the instructions and my water is coming out cloudy. What can I do to correct this?

The water is cloudy for the first gallon. Please follow the instructions to flush the Reverse Osmosis water filtration system until the water turns clear. If you followed the manual and it's still cloudy, please do not hesitate to contact us at (678) 261-7611 M-F 9-5 EST.

Do the filers of RO filter retain / put back fluoride in the water after filtration?

This Reverse Osmosis filtration system will remove fluoride and does not put it back into the filtered water.

How does the alkaline filter work? It says it \"gives back\" minerals such as calcium, but my water has no calcium to begin (already softened).

The Reverse Osmosis drinking water filter system removes over 1,000 contaminants from the water, including some healthy minerals. Then the final stage, Alkaline Filter, contains calcite (calcium carbonate), mineral stones, and Corosex (magnesium oxide), which will add calcium and magnesium to the water (30-60 mg/l is added).

What should I do with the under sink reverse osmosis system when going out of town?

When you leave for an extended period, you will want to shut off the water supply to the RO water purifier and empty the tank. To do this, close the knob on the feed water adapter, and open the faucet until it stops running. This will signify that the tank is empty. If you are gone for more than a week, you will also want to remove the RO membrane and store it in a damp Ziploc bag in the refrigerator.

What if there is zero output water from the RO faucet

1) The water supply is closed. Open the water supply to the domestic RO filter system so the valve aligns with the red tubing.

2) Incorrect installation. Verify all tubing connections.

3) A tubing is crimped, blocking the water flow. Check all tubings and uncrimp any crimped tubings.

When installing this Reverse Osmosis water purifier, should the water source come through the Reverse Osmosis machine or directly from the raw water source?

When installing a Reverse Osmosis water filter under sink where the water source is very hard, it is always recommended to install this unit after the water softener to prolong the membrane's life. So the best thing to do before installation is to get your water tested. You can read how to test your water here. If you do not have a water softener, you can simply install the RO machine directly to your raw water source. Although it may reduce the life of the membrane, it will still work.

Can I install a water filtration system myself?

Yes, a little basic plumbing knowledge is needed. The Reverse Osmosis drinking water system is designed for do-it-yourself installation. All necessary parts for installation are included, backed by clear, well-organized written instructions, instructional videos, and access to iSpring unparalleled technical support.

What is the micron rating or smallest particles it removes? I'm concerned about microplastics that can be 1.0 micron.

The membrane of this RO filtration system is 0.0001 micron, small enough to filter out most microplastics, but the system is not designed to disinfect your water or treat it for microorganisms. If your water contains microplastics or other microorganisms, we recommend treating this issue directly at the source instead before using any water filters. Or you can choose using RCC7AK-UV instead, which includes the Ultraviolet Filter that can treat unreliable water sources like lakes and streams.

Why do I need to use a pressure tank?

The expansion tank provides water pressure to your faucet. Traditional under sink RO water filtration systems usually need a tank to store pressurized water to meet the immediate water needs when you turn on the faucet. Secondly, the storage tank will also help with the system's operation. The RO tank will keep the pressure for the reverse osmosis system and automatically turn on / off the system by monitoring the waterline pressure.

Why every fitting leak after installation?

You have to push the tubing with a fair amount of force to get it to sit all the way. Usually, you have to insert the tubing about 1/2" into the push-in fitting. Secure it with the clip. If the leaking issue is still unfixed, please do not hesitate to contact us at (678) 261-7611 M-F 9-5 EST.

Can this filter be installed on my refrigerator without the faucet?

Yes, absolutely. The Reverse Osmosis water purification system can be used without the faucet.

Where is this system made?

The RO filtration machines without a pump are made in Taiwan, machines with pump are made in China.

How much water can this system produce per day?

This under sink RO system can filter up to 75 gallons per day. The storage tank can hold 3.2 gallons. If you use more than 3.2 gallons at one time, the water flow will be slowed down, but it can still come out.

How many times does this under sink system need to be flushed before it's ready to drink from?

3 times. The first flush is after installing the first 3 stages (the Active Carbon needs to be flushed first to avoid large particles going to the RO membrane) until the water is clean. The 2nd flush is after the RO membrane installation, which will get rid of the protector in the membrane and others for at least 15 mins apart from the tank. The 3rd flush is after the tank has been filled up completely. It will take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on your water condition. After the tank is full, open the faucet and drain the tank completely.

Is it BPA-free?

Yes! All our products are BPA-free. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have additional questions. Stay safe!

Should I turn this Reverse Osmosis system for the kitchen sink off at night?

No, this under sink Reverse Osmosis filter will shut off automatically once the storage tank is full.

Does it remove PCBs?

Yes, the reverse osmosis membrane removes 97% of PCBs.

Can this residential RO water system be hooked up to an existing faucet rather than the one that comes with it?

We strongly suggest using the included RO faucet but if your existing faucet can accommodate a 1/4" quick connect (push-in) fittings, this is possible. Please note that the flow may not be as strong if your existing faucet has a wide spout.

How long is the faucet line?

You will receive a 5 feet tubing for installing the faucet.

Can this RO filtration be used for instant both hot and cold water?

As long as the water for the instant heater is filtered before it gets heated, it won't be a problem. What we want to avoid is putting the hot water directly into the RO membrane.

Can this RO water machine reduce mercury?

For mercury specifically this RO system water purifier has a rejection rate of 96-98%.

How do I make my reverse osmosis water alkaline?

The reverse osmosis filtration system removes over 1,000 contaminants from the water, which includes some healthy minerals. You can purchase iSpring RCC7AK to make your RO water alkaline. The final stage of RCC7AK, Alkaline Filter, contains calcite (calcium carbonate), mineral balls and Corosex (magnesium oxide), which will add calcium and magnesium to the water (30-60 mg/l is added).

Is the reverse osmosis water filter system NSF Certified?

The innovative RO system under sink RCC7AK is certified to NSF/ANSI 58 for TDS reduction (58 for reverse osmosis).
